Who Am I ?
I am French and Belgian but I lived in 7 countries in total, I'm more a citizen of the world really ! I've got a master's degree but never really used it and did plenty of different random crazy jobs all around the world! I live for experiences more than anything else. For me life is an adventure and you need to embrace it and live it to the fullest!
I'm currently 33 years old, living in Canada. I split my life between Pet/family photography in Canada and travelling part of the year to do underwater photography around the world.
How I got into photography
I've always loved photography since I was a kid and bought my first little compact when I was 16. I then finally upgraded to a good camera 6 years ago and I've been learning everyday since then, all by myself, always experimenting and trying to get better!
I discovered underwater photography in 2021 when I was working on Heron Island in the Great Barrier Reef and it soon became a real addiction! I've always been a big nature lover but what I love with the underwater world is how close you can be with so many incredible marine life!
Connecting people to Nature
Our Oceans are so wonderful but we need to all work together to protect them if we want the next generation to be able to experience them as we do! Our world is changing and our oceans have to face more and more challenges everyday. It is our duty to do everything we can to protect them.
I'm hoping that my pictures will allow people to discover the beauties of our underwater world, to connect with it and to be willing to protect it as much as I do!
As David Attenborough said "no one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced”.
